John Nelms

My main focus is to work with the Business/Industry Division on economic development projects. In addition, I represent the Department on Energy, Environment, and Agribusiness issues. Prior to joining the NCDOC staff in July of 2001, I worked at the NC Division of Pollution Prevention from 1994 to 2001 as a Recycling Market Development Specialist.

From 1998 to July 2001, as a employee of Pollution Prevention, I served as the Recycling Specialist for the DOC, working as a developer and advisor on recycling and environmental technology projects. I am 1986 graduate of NC State University with a BA in Business Management and Economics, and a 1991 graduate of Campbell University with a MBA.
